The North end of Okanagan Lake in Vernon is a stunning spot for paddling. At Paddlewheel Park, the Vernon Paddling Centre, offers adaptive paddling nights for inclusive paddling experiences for people of all abilities. As you head down Eastside Rd towards Ellison Provincial Park, there are gorgeous pine forests and rock faces along the shoreline. The calm waters in these bays and beaches offer a unique and fun paddling experience.

    HUrlburt Park – features a small parking lot, jetty and beach.

    Ellison Provincial Park

    Ellison Provincial Park day use beach access open when campground is open.

    Note: You have to walk about 10-15 minutes from the parking lot down a mix of paved and gravel path to get to Otter Bay and South Bay beaches to launch your board.
