From Saltwater to Freshwater. This Region has it all.

The biggest city in the province, framed by the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountains, is located in this region along with the world-famous town of Whistler and the Sunshine Coast, a 180-kllometre-long stretch of beautiful coastline northwest of Vancouver that boasts clear waters, sandy beaches and artsy seaside towns. The Fraser Valley lies to the south and in it you’ll find the longest river in BC winding its way across lush lowlands before running into the Straight of Georgia. There’s a reason the main thoroughfare leading into the mountains here is called the Sea to Sky Highway: this region has it all from sea kayaking to paddleboarding in alpine lakes. And the sky’s the limit for every type of paddler.
