Paddle The Skeena Valley

Terrace sits at the confluence of the Kitsumkalum and Skeena rivers, placing paddlers in the middle of one of northwestern British Columbia’s most water-rich landscapes. The Skeena offers stunning, broad, valley views while the Kitsumkalum provides a faster experience through narrow canyons for rafters, kayakers and whitewater canoeists. Beyond the rivers, the surrounding region is dotted with numerous lakes that create even more opportunities for peaceful exploration by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. With two major rivers meeting in town and countless nearby lakes waiting to be discovered, Terrace gives paddlers an incredible variety of northern waterways to explore.
