      BC Marine Trails

      Connecting the Coast, Respectfully

Our WorkResources for PaddlersOur interactive map lets you plan your trip with ease including trip planning tools, Site Condition Reports, and more. We also offer our Marine Trails Code of Conduct, a practical guide to minimizing impact while paddling.Trails DevelopmentWe maintain a network of over 1,500 coastal recreation sites, including campsites, rest areas, launch sites, and more. This network allows coastal recreationists to  safely navigate BC’s remote and rugged shoreline.First Nations EngagementWe work directly with Nations to direct recreationists to approved sites, and away from those which are environmentally or culturally sensitive, and no longer appropriate for use. Refer to the BC Marine Trails map for site specific information from Nation(s), links to stewardship fees, additional resources, and more. Environmental StewardshipFrom marine debris cleanups to invasive species pulls, we aim to set an example of how recreation can positively impact the coast. Our Site Condition Reporting system allows you to report real time site conditions, and inform management planning, plus keep our map users up-to-date. Get InvolvedJoin a community committed to the future of BC’s coast. Become a member to support access, conservation, and respectful recreation. Visit bcmarinetrails.org to learn more.
