Paddle Beneath Glacier Peaks

Revelstoke lies within the traditional territories of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, and Syilx Okanagan Nations, who have travelled these rivers and lakes for countless generations. Canoe routes through the Columbia River system were historically important transportation corridors and remain culturally significant today. Paddle BC currently has limited detailed paddling information available for this area. We work with local tourism partners and communities to provide route descriptions, curated itineraries, and other water-related insights. Where partnerships are still developing, the amount of information we can share is more limited. Expanding these collaborations remains an important priority as we continue to highlight paddling opportunities across British Columbia, including in and around Revelstoke.
