Paddle The Sunshine Coast Gateway

Gibsons is located on the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, also known as the Squamish Nation. They have been paddling here since time immemorial and continue to do so today. However, PaddleBC does not currently have a lot of information about paddling in this area. We work in partnership with destinations to provide detailed information, curated itineraries, and local insights. Where partnerships are not yet in place, available information is limited. We’re actively expanding our network to better represent paddling opportunities across the province including on the Sunshine Coast.
