A string of quaint, coastal communities that offer a slower pace of life.

Accessed via a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, just west of Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast offers 180-kilometres of coastline paddling on secluded inlets where emerald green rainforests meet the rocky shores of the Salish Sea. What’s not as well known is this region also boasts fantastic freshwater paddling on dozens of lakes including the 57-kilometre-long Powell Forest Canoe Route. Whatever your preference, the Sunshine Coast is salty and sweet.
