A coastal forest gem in the shadow of the Chief.
People have been paddling here for more than half a century, and for good reason. Established in 1956, Alice Lake Provincial Park is a longtime favourite for relaxed days on the water. The 411-hectare park contains four lakes, including Alice Lake, Edith Lake, Fawn Lake, and Stump Lake.
Located about 12 kilometres north of Squamish, the park offers calm, sheltered waters that are perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. The lakes are small enough to feel approachable for beginners and families, yet scenic enough to keep experienced paddlers coming back. Surrounded by dense coastal forest and dramatic mountain peaks, paddlers are treated to peaceful shorelines, quiet coves, and reflections of the surrounding landscape on still water. With easy access, multiple launch points, and picnic areas nearby, Alice Lake Provincial Park delivers a laid-back paddling experience in one of the Sea to Sky corridor’s most beautiful settings.
