Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Pelican Snout Design is the creative home of paddler, designer, and entrepreneur Gord Taylor. Best known in the paddling community for creating the family board game Knoo, Taylor combines a passion for canoeing with imaginative design. Knoo is an adventure-survival game that challenges players to navigate a vast landscape of forests, lakes, and rivers by canoe or bush plane while exploring, strategizing, and covering kilometres across a charted map system. Through Pelican Snout Design, Taylor continues to celebrate Canada’s paddling culture through innovative products, storytelling, and creative projects.
