What the Heff? A mountainside lake 30 minutes from downtown? Yep.
On the drive from Kamloops towards Sun Peaks Resort sits a quiet and serene lake that boasts calm bays, beautiful mountain views, tiny islands, and perfectly peaceful paddling opportunities. Heffley Lake is seven kilometres long and the home of such species as the protected painted turtle as well as loons, fox, osprey, deer, moose and more. To circumnavigate the entire lake will take about three hours or those new to paddling can spend their time in paddle board lessons that are offered on site.
